Image description: A wood and metal structure. On the left is a wall made of vertical slats, on which artwork hangs. On the right is a wooden platform with a metal frame, on which people are performing. A single person is watching the performance, photographing it on their cellphone. The structure is pictured outdoors at twilight, light from an unseen source lighting it up.

8pm | RA Walden
RA Walden’s work is concerned with physicality and its interplay with other social categorisations and power differentials. At the core of their practice is an interrogation of entangled embodiment under late stage capitalism. Walden’s work questions contemporary western society’s relationship with care, tenderness and fragility in relation to our bodies, our communities and our failing ecosystems.
9pm | SuperDre
SuperDre Michigan-based producer, DJ and musictech startup founder SuperDre refers to herself as “a byproduct of years of classical music training and nerdy computer skills.” The latter are evident in the tweaked-out keyboard sounds and heavily processed samples she uses in her tracks, the former in the crafty arrangements she gives them.
She tends to vacillate between minimal house and hip hop-influenced electronica, and occasionally serves up cuts that patch of ground between many genres, bringing minimal house’s crisp, clean aesthetic to bass music and using a bit of hip hop’s organic funk to loosen up more traditional house music.
She can be found both smiling and dancing in the booths of some of the hottest venues and also building tech solutions to help independent musicians with their careers with her company Fourtifeye. With a multi-genre musician approach as a producer, her ability to move fans of all musical styles as a DJ and to deliver energetic live turntable sets as a performer, Dre brings a uniquely innovative style yet retains a soul rarely found in the electronic music scene today.
